Optical scale with direct reading of absolute measure and high-speed serial data transfer. With resolutions up to 0.1 µm and an accuracy grade up to  ± 1 µm, AGS scale is particularly suitable for high-performance CNC machines. 

The scale has a serial interface SSI-BiSS, with or without 1 Vpp analog signal and it is protected against inversion of power supply polarity and short circuits on output ports.

Through conversion gateways, the scale can be interfaced with Profibus-DP, Profinet, CANopen, DeviceNet, ModBus and DRIVE-CLiQ protocols. Thanks to its small size, it is suitable for applications with limited installation space.
